I recently ordered two of these sets to be able to make one complete shelter and I'm happy with the purchase. First off, the shipping is phenomenally fast! For a business located in the UAE it only took the parcel 4 days to reach me, I'm in New York. Second, these shelter halves are pretty good quality repros for the price. Its not the same quality as an original, material is lighter weight and tent poles are not as strong. But its a complete set that wont break the bank and will hold up well enough. I am planning on waterproofing the material as it really needs some treatment. The only complaint I have, which might be a deal breaker for some, is that they advertise it as the early model that is open on one end, and it is not. It's the mid to late war model that has two closed ends. I haven't bothered to contact WPG about it because I don't mind as the tent will be acceptable at the events I attend and I kind of prefer it to be closed. Having the closed version gives me more privacy and protection from the weather so I'm keeping it. WPG just hasn't updated their description about this product. I'll give it a 5 star because its quality is what I expected, but WPG should update the description.

Great set, all materials feel well made. Only con was that it did not come with the tent stakes bag and was told it would be provided with a future order. If you need the bag, make sure to confirm it’s included.

I bought 2 halves for my reenacting kit, and these were the cheapest I could find for a complete half set. They went together and setup exactly how they are meant and looks like the original.

I have been looking for durable tents for a long time for reenacting, and this is a very durable tent. You need two halves to make a full pup tent. But once you do it is very sturdy. Would buy again.

I've been doing business with WPG for years now! Always improving quality. The shelter half reminds me of many years ago when they too leaked (1970s Korean War leftovers) and the rubber lady always had holes in them but all in the wrong places.

The tent seems ok. It's a bit on the brown side. May be a little thin for a hard rain storm.

If you are planning on sleeping out under the stars with it, consider using an aerosol waterproofing product on it first.
