Great, except for one thing..

Two years ago, I ordered a pair of these alongside a pair of poles and pegs. They're great except that the shelter halves were incomplete. My shelter halves didn't have the grommets for guide ropes and poles. I was able to fix this on my own, and they do their job fine now.

Seems that WPG is the best place for me to find reproductions that no one else makes. Yet again they don’t disappoint! I bought 2 shelter halves to do a complete tent and I am very satisfied. Each half came with 4 equipment straps and the anchoring ropes. The only issue I had was some of the grommets were loose and one had completely fallen out. No worries though! A quick trip to Hobby Lobby for some grommets and a setting tool, and everything was fixed in a cinch. So if you’re on the fence whether or not to get one or two of these Bad Larry’s… snag one! You won’t regret it!

I’ve bought three separate items from WPG and I have to say they are great at what they do! These shelter halves are a faithful reproduction of the originals. The quality is excellent and shipping speed is outstanding!

I have been waiting a lifetime for someone to make these. I simply gave-up on finding an original. I was going to use the Great War M1910 USMC Single-Ender Shelter Half with my M1941 USMC Haversack, when I found out that WPG had these. Once again, I found myself a way to be the guy that "has one" instead of a guy that is "faking it".
