Another outstanding, affordable item from WPG. Arrived with my other items in three days in the US. The water bottle is solid, correct, and zero hygiene issues. Did not come with a cork, but not a deal breaker. WPG has been my go-to for Commonwealth items for twenty five years. I was worried when the distributor moved to Emirates but their items get to me faster than any stateside reproduction seller.

Very clean inside, meaning no rust nor particles visible during the initial cleaning. Mine had the small loop for the cork string but it is sufficiently buried under the felt that it can't be seen.
Cork fit like a glove! Only Brit water bottle I own (original and repops) where the cork fit as well as this does.
Very pleased and should probably get another one soon as stock is low.

The waterbottle is an exact replica of the early ww1 one and is very well made! Nicely blue enamalled and good to go with my Patt.39 leather webbing! The cover is made of felt and also of good quality!

A great copy; it's just one of the many styles that was produced during and after the war. The cover is so-so (synthetic wool maybe?), but where else are you gonna get one of these especially for the price?

Talk about a great looking and practical piece of kit! The khaki felt was stitched perfectly, the cork was just right as well. Pair this with the leather carrier and you are ready to go. If you do a lot of talking and educating and/or pontificating, this is a must-have!

Purchased on Monday and received 4 days later. As noted by others, it's a very tight fit in the 1903 webbing, and the cork is oversized. Stitching is flawless. Blue enamel is much darker than originals I have seen. Overall, very happy with the product & the service.
