Excellent purchase. I was very pleased with the quality. The refinish is a nice job. There is some minor ware and tare on the helmet that the restoration didn't remove. It was only minor ware and it gave helmet a little personality. I was also surprised at how quick I got it. I tend to be very demanding as far these reproductions go. Due to my positive experience I will be back to WPG for my future purchses. As some one said, for display or reinactor use you can't do any better.

It sits a bit high on the head, though I normally wear a 7-3/8 hat and bought the 7-1/7 helmet. Nice refinish on the helmet, and nice repro liner.

The processing took a bit longer than I expected, but when the order was processed it took only four days before the beautiful helmet was delivered at my door step (another thing which I hadn''t expected, absolutely not when the shipping cost was only $22!). The helmet is in perfect condition, the liner smells a bit funny. It looks a lot better without the hessian cover, and since it''s a Brodie helmet it can be worn tilted and look even better. This classic helmet was definitely worth it''s price!

I am very pleased with the fast service.
The Helmet is well made,although the liner seems to be a "cross" between an American M1917,and the British M1.(white string rather than brown being the main culprit),among other tiny details,but everything else seems fine,and you can't argue with the price!.

Sits a little high on the head, but I guess my old original helmet had a broken liner, so i am used to it sitting that way. The cover is a bit awkward, can't get it to fit my helmet right at all (looks all poofy in some parts and slips off the rim in others) but I prefer it "au natural" anyway. As mentioned, for a First World War helmet, can't be beat. (and no-one will really see the liner anyway, as long as it fits right the material really isn't important IMHO)

For a helmet under 100, this isn''t a bad deal. The helmet and assembly are fantastic. The liner needs improvement, the pad and band "leather" while an accurate cut are made of stinky modern Naugahyde and will need to be replaced for 100% accuracy.
