Even as a lifelong Indy fan, I've never gotten into acquiring the items to let me quit work and go rob gravesites in the jungles. Out of curiosity and on a whim, I decided to see what the fuss was about with Indy's custom satchel and so I bought the reproduction gas mask bag and strap.

Evidently, the decision to equip Indy with the Mark VII gas mask bag was one from long experience. I had no idea that the interior layout of pockets and dividers would be so practical and useful. It easily holds a standard water bottle, small map cases and paper pad, a few bandanas, trail mix, etc. Even the tiny pocket in the middle is perfect for holding a compass. The size prevents you from overloading it with junk and making it too heavy, so it carries well for long periods. Durability is a given with the choice of materials - light, but very strong. The leather strap is plenty heavy and thick to match the toughness of the bag.

This is a fantastic design that has timeless use following its original life from WWII. With a multitude of uses, anyone would find this to be a great purchase.

I was so excited when the bag arrived in the mail. Went for the reproduction so I could use it as a daily bag in addition to my Indy costume accessory without worry about durability.
The strap is excellent as well, don't worry if you are confused about how to attach like I was, there are easy guides online! More than worth the price, I love it
