I am going after a second pair of these trews !!! THIS was an absolutely worthy purchase !!! It''s correct to say they wear high on your gut. I got a 46 for my 42 gut and the fit was great, looked good. Deep side pockets, 5 button fly. Metal clip holding the waist tab was cheap-o but I do not care. The material is almost same pattern as the kilt I had made from tartan from a mill in Scotland 10 years ago, an almost dead on match pattern with my kilt. Material weight is rather heavy, maybe 20 oz., 46''s come longer in the legs than I needed so I cuffed them for the time being and material cuffs easy enough. I''ll alter the inseam later. ***I took these to an event last weekend and glad I did. I went in kilt and weather was rather poor, cold and wet. I was warm & toasty when not in kilt. You will need suspenders, re-enforce the buttons just in case. DO NOT miss out on getting a pair of these while Jerry has your size, order next size larger. This, like all Jerry''s items, arrives in less than a week. In todays economy and marketplace, this is how you treat your customers right !!!! A perfect pair of tartan trews for that Easter family get together !!!
