US M450 Navy Summer Flight Helmet (2012-01-20)

The subject replica WWII cloth flying helmet arrived when expected and without incident. The workmanship on the product was excellent.
The size was correct, but the ear cups are 1/2" high on me making them a little awkward to wear over an in-the-ear Clarity Aloft headset. Removing the replica headphones and replacing it with a properly shaped piece of foam solved that problem

I was impressed with the flight helmet. The only small thing was the position of the ear cups where the communication leads protrude. The position should be facing more to the rear, as it does make the wearing a little uncomfortable.

But apart from that a very very good job on the reproduction of the flight helmet.
