I ordered these once and the sole came completely off after about 2 hours so I got a replacement in the hopes they would be better but after 45 minutes outside on flat terrain both boots had the soles starting to come off. I am very disappointed and do not recommend.

First of all, the boot arrived damaged. 3 holes in the canvas. I reported this to WPG. They corrected this by refunding a small amount. I sewed those three holes. The boot surprisingly fit my foot perfectly and was surprisingly comfortable, unlike the Miltec products.
The first serious use of the boot came. I wore it to a two-day oldtimer event. During those two days, I just stood and walked in it. This did not happen on difficult terrain, but on a grassy exhibitor's area.
When I got home at the end of the second day, I noticed that the side of the boot on my left foot had separated from the sole. I reported this to WPG and sent pictures. They again helped by refunding a certain amount. This whole letter is not directed against them, but against the manufacturer. At the same time, I took the defective boot to a shoemaker. He looked at it and said that the manufacturer had not glued the sole properly.They fixed it, but they couldn't guarantee that the boots would last long.
It's disappointing that you can buy a replica boot for $115 (plus shipping, plus duty) and it doesn't last two days. I would expect it to last at least 3-4 years, just because my crappy Miltec boots did. In summary:
I wouldn't recommend these boots to anyone. You'd be better off getting an original war boot. I'm only giving it two stars because of the accuracy of WPG.
