In my previous review I stated the hat, although larger than I normally wear, still felt a little too snug. I flipped the brim up and dipped the headband in water and massaged the material a bit then wore it until dry. Bingo! Fits well, not feeling tight anymore!
Just order a size up and you should be good.

I got this for period civilian winter wear and it fits the bill, a very hat for not being super thick. Nice warm wool lining, and the cotton twill shell is soft and hard wearing.
