I decided to fit the US HS-18 helmet headset to a A-11 flying helmet. To do so you need to trim the helmet's chamois lining. You will need to dismantle the earpieces: two small screws, one each side, remove and retain, unwind brown cord at front of earpiece, remove coloured cable and terminals, retain, unscrew steel hoop and retain. Fit earpiece to helmet, ensure it protrudes out of the plastic earpiece bits, leave enough space all round to reassemble the cables and terminals, steel hoop and small screws.

Fast delivery, but the long side of the harness and the plug in lead needed to be shortened. For the set to fit on the helmet the distance on original headsets was 13 inches between earpieces. when the long lead was shortened to the 13 inches the headset fit perfectly into my tanker helmet. Very nice reproduction otherwise.
