Very soundly constructed. Will need trimming down to size and stretching in with Mk VI or VII .303 rounds, but this is the job of minutes. Usual good quality leather, supple, nicely grained flaps. Will take a polish well. A sensible light coloured leather- not a good idea to wear a dark brown bandolier on the veldt! Great for Boer War, inter-war and early WW1 artillery troops, cracking item.

Superb item, very accurate although the generous belt length will have to be trimmed back to suit my size it does not detract from the item at all. Initial concern that the brass closure studs impede on the bullet loops evaporated when I filled the bandolier with deac rounds. Holds 50 rounds as it should. Very happy.
