A nice and unexpected touch was the webbing cover. The mess tin itself has a tight friction connection; the bail may present some challenge in placing the tin in the cover. For certain webbing systems, the cover may require some modification of the belt loop. If placed inside a small pack or equivalent all should be well. The speed of delivery of WPG is legendary, and this order was no exception.

It is good to have a mess tin I can eat from as it's not safe to use an original mess tin. When I ordered the mess tin the note on the website said a cover was not included, yet I received a cover!

I'd wait until the next run to grab one of these or get ready to do some soldering. The metal is nice and sturdy, but mine came unsoldered and leaking badly. Customer service said it was a known issue for this run. It oddly did come with a KD cover even though the description said it wouldn't. But the cover is pretty poor quality so I'd count on getting a better replacement anyway.
