The socks are hysterical -- in a good way. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs.
They roll up all the way to the knees, and are luxurious thick wool -- the only natural fiber that still feels warm even when wet. They work under boots.
The delivery was surprising speedy.
Possibly there will be a slightly darker spot or two. This seems to go with this sort of product. I have an old submariner sweater (bought in 1981 in London at Lawrence Corner, so I think it's authentic) which had the same thing.

Very nice, hard to imagine a thicker sock. They arrived very quickly.
