This is very well made but I am not sure it has a paratrooper cut to it. The para patch doesn't even cover the braid on the right side. My origional hat for my para days has a much deeper cut. The airbone patch is covering the braid by as much as 50%. The ones in WWII pictures seem to be taller too. Still it is the only game in town because I can't find another anywhere. I'm OK with it but am reseraching further pictures.
