UK Khaki Drill Shorts, 1941 pattern (2009-04-30)
Size on these 34 shorts was just too tight. I had to send these back as they felt more like a 30-32 waist. Be careful when you order as the sizing is fickle and inaccurate. The quality and period accuracy is impressive, but not quite worth it with the headache of a bad fit.

mine was size small (2009-04-29)
I wear the early war trousers in size 40 but the size 40 shorts were too small. The size 42 fit me though. I think it is because the top of them is worn about 2" above the navel (obviously to be worn with BD blouse) whereas the early war trouser tops are worn two inches below the navel (would gap if worn with a BD blouse). Jerry seems to have two colours of KD and these are the more orange of the two shades. They match the colour of the officers KD SD that I have but not the KD bush jacket which is more tan and less orange. The two straps in front rely on friction to hold them tight versus the normal type of buckle with the prong that engages in holes as are found on the similar in design midwar trousers that Jerry sells. I intend to change these out. Adding a secret button at the belt line here would go a long way to keeping them from loosening. Good quality though. They just need one more iteration of refinement.
