Great for hot weather environments

Was gifted one of these for Christmas last year as one of many safari-style shirts for my wardrobe, and have used it in rather hot and dry environments in both Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona. I'd unbutton the epaulettes and pocket them when I'd come back into town to make them look a little bit less obvious a military shirt.
The shirt is VERY well-ventilated for air flow in the heat; between the loose cellular aertex weave, the nice wide vents next to the armpits, and the gusseted sleeve cuffs, it was very uncommon that I'd overheat too much from trapped heat. Though in weather approaching 70 F and down, those features of course became more of a detriment because of wind chill. So know what environment you're going to be operating in.
One more additional word of note: the tail on the shirt is very, very long; easily the longest of all the safari/desert type shirts I own. If you're not a re-enactor, you'll want to either wear that tail tucked in or get a tailor to cut it shorter. Lest you look like you have a duck tail trailing behind.
