I am not a reenactor, so I can not speak to "authenticity," but I do know excellent custom-hand-made leather gloves and these rival those. I've driven with them, shot with them, and love them. Sized right for my hands, large, gives me a nice tight fit without being overly so and while not "pick up a dime" dexterity, I have had no trouble manipulating the slide stop or safety on a first style FN Browning Hipower clone. More than worth the money.
