Jerry strikes again!! This is a fantastic and oft overlooked piece of kit, until you have to sleep on the wet ground. Compares favorably to my orig, except that my orig has brass gromets. Oh well, diff mfgs, diff features. Now if Jerry can come through with those UK Para helmets...

Groundsheet
(10/21/2008)
Now my kit is complete. Thanks so much to Jerry for supplying us Tommies a proper groundsheet. Best I have seen. "Ltd." instead of "Inc." might make the stamp more accurate. Minor detail. Mine is already in my small pack!

addendum: British groundsheet
(9/29/2008)
In addition to my previous comments I did notice one very minor negative point. There is a wartime style WPG maker's stamp on the reverse of the groundsheet that reads "WPG Rubber Co INC" or something like that (I don't have the item with me at present). Of course "Incorporated/Inc" is an American company title, a British one would be "Limited" or "Ltd". As I say a very minor point but one that could be quite easily corrected.
