WPG's Indy shirt has replaced my beloved L.L. Bean Field shirt as my new favorite. I was pleasantly surprised that the Indy shirts seemed to be made of the same cotton poplin material as the Bean shirt (the color and weave being seemingly identical). The light material is cool and comfortable, but strong enough for outdoor wear. The the weave is good and tight, which helps protect from chiggers and ticks when out in the field. However, the biggest difference is that the Bean shirt fits like a tent compared to the Indy shirt! The Indy shirt is much more tailored and fitted, and just plain looks better than Bean's field shirt. I like the way the Indy shirt is sized the way shirts used to be, when you could buy a fitted shirt off the rack (that was before "one size fits none" became the mainstay of the clothing industry.) I've bought two of the Indy shirts so far, and plan to buy more! (To WPG - Keep making these shirts! I like the fit so much, I plan on replacing all my Bean shirts with the Indy shirt!)
