Northwest Frontier Chaplis Sandals.
These all leather sandals were worn by the Indian Army
on campaigns in the 1930's. During WWII, they
were popular alternative footwear in the desert.
They were especially popular with the Long Range
Desert Group and other desert raiders. These
reproductions are made in the same style, in the
same small shops, and by descendants of the
shoemaker who made them in WWII. Size 8- 14

Jodphur Strap Boots.
This style of boots became popular with British
officer in India, who brought it back to
England. US Army officers also bought them. This
timeless style has been resurrected in this
beautiful new production by WPG. Fully calfskin
lined, with a padded footbed for extra comfort.

and will complement either uniform or civilian

WPG has located a very limited supply of
original handles for the entrenching tool used
with P-08 and P-37 web equipment. This is the
early style handle WITHOUT bayonet stud. No

| UK Cavalry
Holster Adapter: Many British officers
preferred to wear the revolver on the left side
suspended from the rings of the Sam Browne belt
when mounted. This normally required a special
holster, but this clever adapter, copied from an
original by Wilkinson, allows any holster to be
carried in this manner. Simply slip the adapter
in the holster belt loop, and attach the

WPG has had a new run of high quality fur felt
slouch hats made by Akubra of Australia, world
famous as a supplier of slouch hats for many
decades. These are the common British Army
pattern, with a press stud on the left side to
hold up the brim, and a raw brim with no ribbon.
Inside hooks are fitted for attaching a leather

with Pockets and Epaulets. This is the
sweater immortalized in the WWII cartoon series
"The Two Types." A heavy weight all wool sweater
popular with British officers on the Northwest
Frontier, it was worn in the Western Desert in
WWII as a sign that the wearer had "been there,"
as opposed to being fresh from Blighty. Two

these shorts became famously popular as "Gurkha
Shorts" during a 1980's fashion craze. WPG fans
have asked for these shorts for years, and now

the originals, not the flimsy Chinese made
copies. Two side slash pockets, no back pockets.
Inseam 12 inches. Crossover front waistband with

(Substitute).
After years of searching for more Blanco, or trying to
get it made, I have settled on Tarrago Shoe Cream as the
best substitute for Blanco in the world. Rubs in with your
fingers, doesn't rub off, no mess. Colors available are
light khaki green for WWI to early WWII, and dark khaki or
olive drab (KG no. 3) for Northwest Europe and Burma. One 50
ml jar should treat a complete set of webbing equipment.
